I graduated from Penn State (We Are!) in 2013 after just three, short years. I graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Political Science Spanish. With my degree and fluency in Spanish, I was able to land my first job in sunny Miami with a startup cable network, Fusion (an ABC & Univision joint venture). I'm currently an Associate Producer on Alicia Menendez Tonight, one of the flagship shows on Fusion. At AM Tonight I produce a daily segment for the show while simultaneously work on long-term packages to be featured on the show. My favorite part of my job is traveling to feature human interests stories. I love shooting and editing video. This involves pitching the story, booking the guests, writing the script, reporting the story and editing it from start to finish. It's always an adventure!

 

         I'm originally from Columbia, MD and the youngest of four siblings. I sure miss living in the North during the Summer months (Miami humidity is not fun) but absolutely love laying out on South Beach in December (it's a give & take relationship). In my spare time, I also love to read... my bookshelf is overflowing with novels, biographies, cookbooks, you name it! I also love checking out bands at local bars and watching Grey's Anatomy any chance I get. Moving to Miami and working for a startup has been the boldest step I've taken in my personal life and my career and I'm proud to say I don't regret one minute of it!
